Moira Rusk

Owner & Chief Pilot

Founder and head of Northern Drift. Flies both the Convair CV-580 and the Twin Otter. Known for her uncompromising professionalism – and for never asking questions that don’t need answers.

Mae Holloway

Captain – Twin Otter

Precise, analytical and weather-hardened. Mae has flown with Northern Drift for years and is at home on short, rough strips. Her calm in the cockpit is legendary – as is her focus on systems over small talk.

Julius “Jules” Calder

First Officer – Twin Otter

Former flight attendant with an eye for detail and empathy. Brings humour and warmth to the team without ever losing focus on the job.

Alec Marsh

Pilot – Convair CV-580

Veteran cargo pilot with a background in the oil industry. Straightforward, grounded and unflappable – as long as the coffee’s strong and the engines run smooth.

Finlay Kerr

First Officer – Convair CV-580

Former RAF pilot, quiet and dependable. Considered the Convair’s living checklist – and speaks only when it matters.

Catriona “Cat” McLeod

Pilot – Convair CV-580 / Twin Otter

Former Loganair pilot with a fondness for night flights and strong winds. Values precision but never forgets a joke. “If the runway shines, it’s good enough for me,” she says.

Kerry Doyle

Lead Mechanic

Former RAF aircraft technician from Lossiemouth. Knows every rivet on the G-EKFO by name. Her hangar may look chaotic, but no aircraft leaves it until it sounds right again.
